To use this first direct Banking on the go App you need to be a first direct customer and registered for first direct Internet Banking.

We know that you like to manage your money when you’re ‘on the go’. That’s why we’ve created this App. It allows you to see and use some of your Internet Banking services more easily on a smaller screen.

Our App allows you to:

• view balances and up to your last 90 transactions
• make transfers between your accounts with us
• make payments to a person or organisation you have paid before using Internet Banking
You’ll still need to log on to full Internet Banking at firstdirect.com regularly to access all services. We recommend you do this at least every 14 days. Some of the Internet Banking services that you can only access by logging on at firstdirect.com are:

• full statement information
• details of monthly charges, fees and interest
• sending, receiving and viewing attachments of secure messages•setting up payments to a person or organisation you haven’t paid before
• cancelling or amending a payment you have set up

We don’t charge you for this App, but we can’t say the same for your network provider, who may charge you for downloading and using the App. You’ll be responsible for these charges.

We recommend that you don’t use this App abroad, but if you do, you’ll need to make sure that it’s permitted by local law, and remember your network provider’s charges may be higher.

The App may be withdrawn at any time; we will tell you if this is going to
happen.

It’s important that you only download Apps in accordance with the terms and conditions that you have agreed with Google.

Loving the look and the way it allows access to the services i need at the press of a button, however recent update keeps giving problems with the log on process, it fails to take you on to correct page ... spacing the button on the page might be a good future update !

Awful and a Missed opportunity First Direct the bank that reinvigorated and reinvented banking in the UK, delivers a prime example of the 10 second app, installed for 10 seconds and then deleted - except you can't - because it's now the security key to your on-line life and it's awful in every way. Yes it works, yes you can check your balances, move money, sign into your account, but it's just so uninspired, so unimaginative and so much not the leading edge experience I was expecting. Which means it is exactly what the title says, a "missed opportunity" to move the mobile banking experience on to the next level as First Direct did with the telephone banking experience previously.

Terrible security system Been with FD for nearly 18 years. The new security system needs to be scrapped, or people are going to start leaving.

Not working properly on HTC One X I have to reset my Digital Secure Key almost every time I use this app. It just doesn't recognise my password even though I am entering it correctly. Sometimes I can't even type in the password field and have to close the app and reopen it. Very disappointing.
