Your hunger is powerful. Do something simple, and yet truly extraordinary with it.

FoodCircles lets you try a dish at a local restaurant for $1 or more, and sends 100% of your purchase to provide one (or more) hungry children dinner. Every $1 you spend feeds one child, via the hunger nonprofit of your choice.

Once you make a purchase, simply show the server of your chosen restaurant to redeem alongside regularly purchased food or drink. You can buy vouchers for friends, strangers, and of course, for your own dinner plans.

"That’s the most convenient part about FoodCircles; you don’t have to go out of your way to help a life-changing organization." – http://womenslifestyle.com/buy-one-feed-one/

"The app lets users buy a local special — an appetizer or dessert — for $1 and donates 100 percent of the purchase to either World Vision to feed kids in West Africa or Kids' Food Basket to feed kids locally." – http://www.grbj.com/articles/78438-foodcircles-re-launches-charitable-app

“I have kids of my own and so I think about others who may not be as fortunate as my family is. We need to help where we can and do whatever little bit we can.” – Shaun Wooden GM Red Jet Cafe, http://fox17online.com/2013/11/26/feeding-the-hungry-with-food-circles-app/#ixzz2mv3iPGR8

Unusable app.. Good idea, but stupid app. There's like 6 or 8 restaurants on here and they're all 600 miles away from me! I've since updated my review to give it more stars.. I feel it could be better once they get more participating places.

Good idea but buggy app Great idea, app works relatively easily but the app crashes randomly in the background occasionally, which is getting annoying. Edit: Finally found it to be too annoying and uninstalled it.

A novel and noble idea! Initial versions were a bit buggy, but now buying vouchers is a simple process. I wish there were an easier way to suggest new restaurants. Maybe work with Foursquare?

What a dumb app. It doesn't even have options for anywhere remotely close to where I live. It's pointless. I will never go to a restaurant over 100 miles away just casually..

Great idea This is totally awesome and I really was excited about it but it's only for Michigan. If there is ever one for Northern California I'm in.....
