This is a Football simulator made as part of a University project.
It's here for testing, so please try and run it.
The intention was to produce realistically behaving football players. Obviously the model is far from fully life resembling (2D, no spin on ball, player's stop when in control of the ball and some more tiny ones), but I think it behaves well enough.
I'd be happy to share the code or maybe even help in using this as a basis for making a football game, but for the near future I'm not planning on updating this much.

or to download a jar and execute on desktop at: http://www.oxpolsoc.com/fm/download/
Notes: Players play at max stats - hence why they shoot so well
You can zoom in by standard pinching - this is the only way at the moment to concentrate on a specific part of the pitch.
Optimised graphics a bit (they can mess up during zoom)
And made defence AI a bit better + attacking AI use better heuristics.
Decreased memory usage.
