Fuel Economy for Torque Pro

Ever wondered why your car consumes more fuel from time to time? Or how the way you drive can affect fuel economy? So many tips and tricks can help you improve gas millage (fuel consumption), but you don't need to worry about them with us. You just need to follow one simple rule:

TURN RED BARS TO GREEN TO SAVE FUEL.

► Requirements:
1. OBD II reader, connected to your car.
2. Torque Pro app, pre installed on your android device. This is a plugin app. It only works together with Torque Pro app.
✮ If you don't have the Torque Pro then try this app from us, with the same functionality. But it doesn't require Toque Pro.

► Available Units: MPG, Imperial MPG, L/100KM, Km/L

► Notes:
1. App starts showing graphs a few seconds after your vehicle starts moving.
2. Three methods are embedded in the app to calculate mileage/fuel consumption. Try to change the method if it doesn't respond or the numbers are inaccurate. It is common for some vehicles to report slightly different numbers on different methods. Some cars might not support one or two method at all.
3. Set "Fuel Type", "Engine Displacement" and "Volumetric Efficiency" in your car profile.
4. On devices without menu button, touch anywhere on the screen and hold for 2 seconds. Menu pops up.

Chevy volt support It would be nice if this would work with a chevy volt. It seems to only work when the generator is running. I think if you were to base it off of total miles driven and gas used it would work fine on a hybrid. Also would be nice if the large number on the right could be changed between average mpg and instant mpg.

What happened? This app was working on my old phone. Got new phone. It was working. Exited after reaching destination. Never worked again. Wth? 1 star for now. Worth 5 if it would start working again. Sad face.

It's ok. I torque with an old device that has no network service. It is a pain to have to bring the device in once a week and deal with the licensing update and then getting the phone to forget about the ota update too. Why can it not just remember I own it?

Ripoff Purchased the plugin but when I go into torque it says unlicensed access detected and wants me to buy again. BS!

Works great! I turn it on before a trip and at the end check the trip log for average mpg. Very accurate also lets you know amount of fuel used up for specific trip. Great plugin worth the money
