Gallifreyan Translator

Gallifreyan Translator

This app takes English input and translates it to Circular Gallifreyan. You can then share the converted text with others as well as export it to a generic image file. A great app for all Doctor Who fans.

Circular Gallifreyan contains some letters with lines extending from them. Although the letters always have the same number of lines extending from them they point in semi-random directions. This means two translations of the same text can appear slightly different but both are always proper translations.

Its ok Its not a language designer. I can write the word hope fifteen times and it'll always be different. But its a good start

Fun This is a lot of fun to play with, and I love that I can customize the colors, but some of the characters are repeats! C is the same as K and D is the same as L.

Readable, pretty Ingenious Well, they got it right as far as I can tell. I'm fluent in Circular Gallifreyan, but since its a fanmade language, everyone does it differently. THIS guy uses one line for two letters. Its kinda confusing but it still works. I would give this five stars if I didn't already know how to write in Circular Gallifreyan (and pretty dang well if I do say so myself). I also don't suggest using this to LEARN Circular Gallifreyan. There's Pinterest and WikiHow for that ;)
