User reviews of GemRB
While I really like what this app is capable of, documentation is horrible. The Wiki has very little info about actually making of the Bioware games work (let alone work correctly). For example, the instructions above say copy all files into the GemRB folder on your droid except the executable's, that didn't work. Other resources online say copy all files, including exe's, which didn't work for me either. The GemRB.cfg file can either be edited or not edited depending on what resource you read. Also, the instructions state "do a full install to PC, then copy" but the GemRB.cfg file expects you to delineate where is "CD1, CD2," and so on. Confusion sets in because it's unclear if you're simply copying everything over, copying the contents of each CD over (how else do you where the contents of each CD lands in the install folder on your PC?) or some other method. So far, while I'm excited about getting this working it seem more of a pain then just waiting for the Enhanced Editions and buying it for the droid platform at this rate.

This is an awsome app. I only have the BG2 demo so far, and there are still some bugs and UI issues, but overall it is a very impressive app. The small screen on phones make it challenging but an Android tablet would probably be very useable.

Can't get Icewind Dale to work for the life of me. I am certain I am setting up the config file properly. I can't seem to find any step-by-step instructions other than the ones in the description of the app. I know I am supposed to use \mnt\sdcard\(etc etc) but no matter what I cannot get it to start the game. It just initializes and closes immediately, like it did once it downloaded the necessary files. Could anyone help me out here?

Works fine The baldurs gate 2 demo works no problem. Controls are clunky or maybe I'm missing something. For example moving the screen seems quite difficult and is hit or miss. Drawing a box around the whole party to move them all at once seems impossible. Then again, as stated... I could be missing something.
