GigBeat helps you never miss another concert by your favorite artist in your town!

GigBeat scans your device's music library, shows you when your favorite artists are on tour and where they will be. Don't have any music stored on your device? That's not a problem, GigBeat offers support for Songkick, Last.fm and Rdio accounts so users can login and sync their artists from these services!

GigBeat will also remind you when a concert you've starred is coming up, or notify you when it finds new tour dates in your area for artists you are tracking.

GigBeat is currently fully supported on Android phones running version 2.1 or higher and is compatible with Honeycomb tablets, but a more polished version for tablets is coming very soon.

Good collections of events, and seems to have quite some detail also for smaller, non US cities. I miss the option to add filters, for example hide/show a specific venue, or genre. But hey, its free!

Seems to no longer be supported This happened with another app called gigbox. They did a great job and went for so long doing exactly what I wanted. Now it seems like they've stopped supporting it again like they did with the other and you can't find bands or shows at all

Whatever i have on my playlist it relates it to, and bam ..i know when my fave. Artists r playing near me.. Love it

Not good The most annoying thing is you can't add artists manually. The only way I could add is by it scanning the music then you can't remove artists either. Annoying and poorly thought out!!
