Gilded Reverie Lenormand

Gilded Reverie Lenormand

The Gilded Reverie is a deck by Ciro Marchetti based on the cartomancy system commonly referred to as the LeNormand. This app offers you the ability to generate a card of the day, or review each card individually. Each card includes a description and meaning which were provided by renowned and experienced figures in the Lenormand community, Tali Goodwin and Rana Gerorge.

In the reading section you can choose to do a reading placing the cards your self or select one of the Grand Tableau layouts. When either of these are selected, the cards are dealt automatically. When pressed, each card will reveal and display a reference of its corresponding "House" placement which is positioned directly below.

You can also add your own notes for any reading and save them to a journal for future access and reference. These notes can also be e-mailed along with a screen capture of the corresponding reading spread to clients or friends, directly from your device (that supports sending email).

Preferences include the use of either the standard 36 cards of the LeNormand system, or the option to override them by substituting additional Man/Woman cards, or "Owls" in place of "Birds".

Most apps use scans of the the original artwork which often compromises quality and detail. Whereas this Gilded Reverie app incorporates the same very high resolution files that were used to print the physical deck. This ensures that the detail and color of the original artwork is faithfully maintained even when zoomed in and displayed at several times the size of the actual deck.

Our apps do not not provide "canned" meanings as we consider that would be of questionable value and credibility. Instead we have strived to produce apps that closely resembles the functionality of their physical counterparts, namely as a tool in the hands of a reader. But with the added convenience of mobility.

This Gilded Reverie LeNormand app is intended for entertainment purposes only.

Not worth the money The cards are beautiful but this app has many issues. It doesn't always do the readings, I have to restart the phone for the readings to work. Seems like unfinished product. Which I'd expect if it was free but it's not and there's no updates to resolve the problems so far...

Beautiful But has the problems with resources management a bit. How about realising a booklet which follows original version? Still, beautiful! Thank you :)

fantastic graphics This is easy to use and the graphics are superb. It does not do the reading for you, and makes no apologies for that. I do agree this is down to us as the user/reader to do, but there are card meanings so it is possible for beginners to put together their reading. Another quality product from Ciro. Why only 3 stars? Not as many features (spreads) as the ipad version, and you have no control over the shuffling or card selection which I have with tarot apps. I want to have more than one shuffle before laying the cards

Best Oracle card app! Let me say first that this one may not be for people who doesn't know what Lenormand card is. If you know, however, like I do - this app is by far the BEST and most decently made Lenormand app. It allows the user to create their own spread (i.e. you can freely place cards to wherever you like). While placing cards, tapping twice allows you to rotate the card 90 degree (not necessary for Lenormand system though ) Once placed the card, you 'lock' the position and can flip the cards to see the images. Tap twice the card and you can read the meaning of each cards. What is also clever, is that it shows the 'houses' beneath the cards when using the 8x4 and 9x4 spreads of grand tableau. (Drag the card out from its position, and you can see the picture of the 'house' it was sitting in.) I found the freedom of laying cards particularly useful, since Lenormand is a flexible card system for layouts (e.g. 5cards, 9 cards, 3x3 cards, etc). It does NOT mouth-feed you with pre-set spreads and fixed interpretations. It allows you to read the cards on your own like you do with real cards (which Lenormand should be). Briliant.
