Explore and battle as Grave Grady in mythic sword and sorcery adventure. Start by honing your blade or spell craft traversing a cursed forest labyrinth, acquiring critical artifacts from abandoned temples and ruins. Then continue to the misty Crossbones Marsh and sprawling Atlock Ruins. Choose from the cold steel Sword track, using abilities Sword, Arrow, Flaming Arrow, Berserk, Charge, Melt Into Shadow, Black Cat, Track, and Dark Shadow, or the dark Sorcery track, using abilities Dagger, Stone, Angry Mob, End of Days, World Fades, Summon Bat, Summon Spider, and Ward. Character specific abilities are implemented through a timerless system. New wilderness environs are created each play and new content is regularly added.
Sword Track - 'The woods Grady has been traveling through falls away abruptly to a torch lit trail, becoming progressively more chill and damp. The air is heavy with a low mist and hints of the fetid order. The fighter moves down the trail in effortless silence, without a twig snap to betray his presence.The night surrounds him, and a lost wind moans among the black trees. Headstones poke out of the mist like tiny islands in a sea of fog as Grady enters the overgrown graveyard he must pass through on his way to Crossbones Marsh, and ultimately the Atlock Ruins. While doing so he hopes to find precious artifacts lost among the ancient forest ruins to increase his chances for survival later, starting with the Lantern of Jack. He hopes also to find signs of a previous explorer who crossed the marsh decades ago and never returned. The forgotten graveyard before Grady has long been haunted by Stingy Jack, a lazy but shrewd farmer who legend has it tricked the devil into never taking his soul. Barred from both heaven and hell, Jack endlessly wanders the ancient labyrinth of brush, searching for a resting place. He lights his way with an ember the devil mockingly tossed to him from the flames that would never burn out . . . Shunning the dark arts, Grady learned early to glide through the deepest and most tangled thicket as noiselessly as a spider on a web, his catlike stride easily ate up great distances, and his keen senses allowed him to stalk enemies from signs on rockiest surfaces. His charge was as unstoppable as a rhino, and he could go into a deadly berserk rage when pressed. With these skills and his naked broadsword, Grady approaches a soft light below . . .'
