Green Quit Smoking

Green Quit Smoking

Green Quit Smoking for Android is an app designed based on the latest smoking cessation research by psychology experts, to bring you a brand new, drugless way to help you restraint your smoking addiction. As long as you want to quit, you can do it. There are "record addiction" and "restraint addiction" two stages. Record stage is that you smoke as usual and record the smoking habits; restraint smoking stage is that you only smoke when the app remind you to. This method is suitable for all smokers wanting to quit.

There are two kinds of smoking addiction: one is physical addiction, that is, smokers’ body depends upon nicotine; the other is psychological addiction, smokers develop long-term smoking habits. For long-term smokers, both addictions are strong; the level of addiction may vary. Under the pressure of both physical addiction and psychological addiction, the success rate of quit smoking relying solely on willpower is very low. The most fundamental reason is the lack of understanding of addiction, and inappropriate choice of smoking cessation methods. Non-pharmacological smoking cessation methods are recommended for smokers with less serious physical addiction.

The restraint addiction stage takes about 15 to 45 days (the time depends on the smoker’s level of addiction and the intensity of the action plan). After the restraint period, stop smoking becomes easy as the body will not rely on nicotine anymore.

Could be great, but... This app seems like a good idea. However, there needs to be an option to add cigarettes you have smoked but weren't able to input at the time. If you try to enter more than one cigarette within a minute (because you weren't able to enter it while smoking...driving, away from phone, etc) it gives a message that says something to the affect of, "not smoking so much at once, right?" Because of this I have yet to even get past the initial smoking assessment. Fix that issue and I'm sure this app would be great.

Great! I would give it 5 stars if you could change the tone notification when it's time to smoke again. Silence or even vibrate option.
