Automatically answer your phone, without touching it.
Designed for bicycle- and motorcycle-couriers, but also ideal for recreational bicycle- and motorcycle-riders. Even in the car it is the safest option.
How does it work?
Your phone is in your pocket or even in a plastic zip-lock-bag in case of rain. You use the standard earphone-set or a fancy blue-tooth earpiece.
When the phone rings it will fully automatically "pick up" after a preset number of rings and you can, without stopping or even taking your hands from the handlebar, answer the phone. After the call is finished, it automatically hangs up and is ready for the next call.
Place the phone in a hands-free phone-cradle or just put it on the dashboard.
Whenever someone calls you, the phone automatically answers and switches to "speaker mode". After your phone-call, it automatically disconnects and waits for the next call.
Once started, the whole process runs as a service in the background, so you can do anything you want with your phone. (like run a GPS navigator when in the car)
An icon in the notification-bar shows you it is active, so you wont forget to switch it off after you are done riding/driving.
It was specially designed for bicycle- and motorcycle-couriers. It enables them to take phone-calls from their office or from customers without stopping the car/bike or bicycle. Even without taking their eyes from the road and their hands from the wheel/handlebar.
You can set the number of seconds to wait before answering (to make sure you hear the phone ringing)
You can choose "Speaker" or "Head set" mode
You can "Start" or "Stop" the service with one button-press.
It shows you clearly whether it is "On" or "Off"
There seems to be an issue with cheaper Chinese phones (Like Star). They do not always allow the app to pick-up the phone. Some HTC models do not allow the speaker to be activated.
