User reviews of Hiragana/Katakana Drills
The best hiragana app I've tried. Most practice apps show you a hiragana character and give you a just few answer options, but this app lets you chose your answer from the complete syllabary, it's much better for learning. Too bad the pro version is not available in my region

Good idea bad set up The concept behind the app is there however the set up does not allow the user to see all symbols and some in the table run into each other making you get some wrong if the Romani table was fixed to work better then this would definitely deserve 5 stars

Could be better A good app who helped me a lot to progress, probably the better but there's some lack of features. The test is harder, which is better, than other similar apps, as you have to choose between the 48 characters/syllable ( not between a choice of 4 or 6 answers, like most of the similar apps). The random answers are also a really good idea. The adjustable font size is a good idea as you can see all the chart but it depends of your phone's dpi... This is where comes the biggest problem: there's not all the 102 Hiragana/Katakana (yōon and handakuten) which is really annoying when you buy a 3€ app and I think 100 rounds maximum is a bit too short. Also a track your progress could be a good implementation: for each character, you could see the percentage of success and the app choosing more often the characters in which you have more difficulties.

Can't see all the characters to select an answer and you have to constantly scroll up or down to even pick one. Making you lose time -__-
