HomeBudget is an integrated expense tracker designed to help you track your expenses, income, bills-due and account balances. It offers support for budgeting and allows analysis of your expenses and income, including charts and graphs. Two key differentiating features of HomeBudget are:

1. Integrated set of features. The features within HomeBudget are well integrated such that a bill can become an expense (when you pay for it) and also adjust the account balance at the same time.

2. Family sync. HomeBudget includes Family Sync, an advanced feature that allows a group of devices within the household (Android, iPhone, iPad) to exchange expense and income information, and work together within a single budget. Once setup, the devices sync with each other automatically over the air. Family Sync works across all features including Bills and Accounts. Absolutely love it. I'm in control. Hate the fact that I had to pay it twice (went from iPhone to Samsung).

Great but needs a big UI refresh I love the app but the UI needs to be completely redesigned.

Mibudget in essence, but without the quick intuitive interface I got this because it looked very similar to the simple but effective Mibudget app which I used for years on the Blackberry. However HomeBudget has a major design flaw - whereas in Mibudget, you view your month's budgets, running balance and individual expenses on the one screen (with expandable detail), here expenses and budgets are split into completely different screens. This for me really lets this app down as a useful on-the-move budget logger. It is far more intuitive to see your budget & balance at the point when you input expenses against a particular category ("whoops, only £20 more to spend on food this month") rather than have to first look at one screen then remember a balance, before you go to another screen to input the expenses. This is unnecessarily clunky & is not balanced out by however many bar and pie charts. I miss you Mibudget, please design a version for Android!
