Great Gets me wherever I've tried to go. You can customize what kind of train you want to take, and if you spell the station wrong it will suggest alternatives. Everything I'd ask for in a train app.

Was a nice thought but Hard to use is much easier to use Google maps Google included the prices off by a couple dollars but easier includes all rail lines to your choosing times , duration, and directons.

Useless app for English speakers Unfortunately almost none of the stations show up when typed in romaji. I have been traveling Japan three weeks and rely on google directions instead.

Great but missing a few key features I have used Hyperdia for awhile now and I really like their website. Their app is great too but it'd be nice if it could fill in station names while I type instead of me having to type them from memory. Also, you guys need to list platform numbers at every transfer because there are some stations where just knowing the Line name isn't enough. If you don't believe me, try navigating Akabane or Omiya
