Inoreader - RSS & News Reader

Inoreader is the content reader built especially for power users who want to save time.

Using a content reader helps you keep up with your top information sources - content comes straight to you, saving you the time to go and check every site on your own.

With Inoreader you can also monitor news about specific keywords, save pages from the web for viewing later or subscribe to social feeds. And when you need to look up some past piece of content you liked, you can rely on the powerful free search and full archive of your subscriptions.

Inoreader also keeps track of which items you've read, so you only see the unread items when you come back, even when you login on different devices.

Unreliable The reader has so many quirks. It crashes and freezes often. One of the worst I've seen.

Didn't last 10 minutes Having used the web application for years, I had high hopes and high expectations for this app. Maybe that's why it was such a huge disappointment. I couldn't sort my feeds the way I wanted, the web view - which I wasn't expecting in the first place - didn't work properly for certain pages, and then the interface to the browser didn't work either. The 'compact' view took up too much room(!), and all in all, it just didn't succeed for me.

Very buggy since last major update Advancing from folder to folder after marking items as read is not moving in sequential order of my folder list, it jumps around. Also, sometimes the mark as read button or when I try to open articles by tapping, it does nothing. It doesn't work very well in the way I use it. I've notified the developer and they assured me it would work in the next update, but its still happening. I've since moved to the News+ Inoreader client as I still like their service but this app is too buggy for me to use.
