The Intel Boxed CPU Decoder has been replaced by a new app called the Intel Channel Products Guide. To download, search the Play Store for Intel Channel Products Guide. This application will no longer receive data updates and will be removed from the Play Store on March 31, 2013. ---------------------------------------------------------- The Intel® Boxed CPU Decoder makes it easy to quickly identify detailed processor features, search and compare processors by brand or socket, identify key differences such as frequency, cache size, number of cores/threads, thermal design power and more. We also offer an Intel Technology Provider lookup feature. Find a provider based on your location or search criteria. This tool contains currently shipping Intel boxed desktop processors.
Users will be prompted to allow the use of location services. Selecting yes will allow the Locate ITP feature to get your current city and country and then list Intel technology providers based on your city and country location. Selecting no will require the user to manually search for a location. This information is not stored or collected by Intel.

Do you even know your own CPU line? This app needs some work. The cpu's are all messed up, many cpu's are not listed and of the ones that are in the app, many are incorrect. One good example is the 45 nm core 2 duo E6400 and E6600. The E6400 is totally missing from the list. E6600 is in the list but with the wrong specs. It says 3.0 GHz but it is really 2.4 GHz , there are to many errors in this app.

Limited info It doesnt have q6600 quad or many atom cpus, the majority of the size is due to the intel inside video, waste of bandwidth
