Test your ability to spot intervals you hear. Listen to two notes and determine the distance between them. Great for musicians and anyone who wants to practice linking what you hear to what’s notated. Especially good practice for sight-singing, and builds overall musicianship for anyone on any instrument.
It’s simple: You will be given a play button, and several choices of note pairs on a staff. Press the play button to hear the interval, and select the correct notation. If you get it right the first time, your rating goes up, and difficulty increases based on rating.
Things that are affected by rating:
-Maximum interval size in half steps
-Possible direction of the interval (up, down, both)
-Whether the first note can vary among choices
-The possible scales and keys the notes are taken from
-Total possible notated intervals to pick from
-Choose any MIDI instrument, let it randomize or stay on your favorite. Change at any time.
