Available to Investec Online clients, the Investec App brings our private clients’ accounts securely and conveniently onto their tablet and smartphone. View and manage your accounts, make payments, buy and sell shares, all on the go.
The Investec App offers the following services:

• Accounts: A consolidated view of all your Investec Private Banking accounts in the UK and SA
• Banking: Transactional banking services, including making and managing payments
• Insights: Research, Investec News, commentary and analysis by Investec’s thought leaders
• Trading: Buy and sell JSE listed equities (currently available to SA clients only)
• Market Data: View major local and international indices, commodities and currencies as well as insight into the South African equity market (currently available to SA clients only)
• My Personal Portfolio: Updated Personal Portfolio so that clients now see a complete picture of their balance sheet (currently available to SA clients only)
• Income & Spend: This tool helps you to visualise your income and spend and see exactly where your money goes (currently available to SA clients only)
• Buy: Private Bank account holders can now purchase SMS bundles, data and airtime


How to access your account via the Investec App:

You will need to be enrolled in Investec Online.
Use the same Investec ID and password that you use to log in to Investec Online to get started in the App.

The following clients can use the Investec App:

- Private Banking UK
- Wealth & Investment South Africa

Auto rotate screen The phone screen rotates automatically when I use the Investec app-both old and new.my settings for auto rotate are off,can you assist?

Not supported on rooted device, malicious Very disappointing. The app doesn't work on rooted devices. Totally unnecessary step. Also, this app requested root access, totally unnecessary and a security concern. I regard any app that requests root for no reason as malicious. Even when I completely disable root access the app still doesn't work, so the root detection is faulty.

Root detection needs work I am using a OnePlus One running stock CyanogenMod without root permissions, yet the app incorrectly detects it as being a rooted phone, so I cannot use it. Please resolve asap.

Devs seem to be working thru some issues 17 Feb 2015: Investec app devs seem to be constantly improving this and was pleasantly surprised today. Working Ok on a Nexus 9 tablet (running Lollipop). However, my Investments are still not linked through. (I can see them in my online banking on desktop). You need this functionality for this to be comprehensively useful. older: options in the drop down menus do not even appear >> cannot use it to transact also, no Asset Management info appears in profile. what are we supposed to do with this App ?

Very helpful app I would also like to be able to purchase prepaid electricity. Any ideas as to when this option will be made available?
