Notes to users in response to Hector's comments below:
a. In Product Features, we have clearly mentioned that the battery manager algorithm moves your phone to deep sleep when idle. This has been the consistent product feature description from the day of app publication.
b. A phone is idle when a person is not using it [talking on phone, playing a game, etc.]. In other words, when you are in a hour long meeting, leave the phone unused overnight, etc. are scenarios when low power mode can be initiated.
c. Refer to Hector's comment - "note the 4th screenshot. It has several periods in the "discharging" graph that the battery charge were rising. Do you have an explanation for that?".
Yes, the explanation is that this is some problem in the way battery graph is displayed in a Sony Xperia phone. The above mentioned screenshot is from a Sony Xperia U phone. (http://communities-origin.sonyericsson.com/thread/51221?start=0&tstart=0). It doesn't mean that we are charging the phone every few minutes and claiming improved battery performance. [If a phone is charged, the screenshot's last row shows a "green vertical bar" denoting phone has been charged.]
d. As for whether we save energy or not, please connect a Schneider Energy Meter to your phone and measure energy consumption to a high degree of precision yourself and validate it. We did it before publishing the product.
