IR Universal Remote™ - IR 2.0 turns your phone into a real universal remote. Use your phone's built in IR Blaster to control infra-red devices such as your TV and Cable Box (and much more). A phone or tablet with a built in IR Blaster is required. This application has thousands of supported manufacturer models with hundreds of thousands of different IR remote codes and is continuously growing in supported devices. This is one of the most universal applications in Google Play. Whether your kids have lost the TV remote or you just want to turn up the game at the bar you can always use your phone.
Great news! Google Play carefully reviewed this application and has reinstated it. You will need to update to the new IR 2.0 framework. Updating to the new IR 2.0 framework WILL cause you to loose your saved remotes and settings. I will not undo the IR 2.0 framework so do not ask. If you have any comments, questions, concerns, or complaints about this application and it being republished with the new IR 2.0 framework then please contact me.
Please make sure your phone or tablet has a built in IR Blaster before trying this application!
Element TV? use the following code set from the global cache database: Emerson --> TV --> 178
Hi-sense TV? use: Toshiba --> TV --> 1265

IR 2.0™, uses Google Play email addresses to verify in app purchases. This ensures unlocked features are available across multiple devices and after device resets. To provide this, IR Universal Remote stores your Google+ email address on a remote server. Your email address is only stored if you choose to have ads removed.
THIS APP IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY OTHER DEVELOPERS.
Small bug fixes, refined graphics, move and change backgrounds for menu-pad buttons while on main layout. Improved custom image buttons when pressed. Universal Widget is in development.
