Failed mobile access often Most of time failed when trying to access via Android. The only fix is to uninstall and reinstall. Come on Iris, this is happening ever since the beginning! Fix this!

Mostly Works UPDATE: finally have enough devices installed to give my observations some validity. I have two devices that I cannot get to work even though they are recognized by the hub. The door opener stopped working and a second extender barely had a signal. I even replaced both devices so it seems the problem is in the system. Everything else works great. Overall, a good start. Would like to see compatibility with more devices, especially some better cameras.

Luke Warm Overall awesome product when it works .Camera stream is "D" . Alot of connection loss issues in a small home ,even with a signal extender. Considering going back to hardwire system with a wifi interface. .Lowes needs to put more into R&D to get this to the next level.

The UI hasn't changed ever.. it's not horrible, but not that great looking. Worse thing is the issues. The mode buttons do absolutely nothing and haven't for months. I've reported a bug and still nothing. Had a Note 3 now on a S6 and still no change. Like everyone else has said, I pay 10 bucks for almost nothing.. because viewing the camera is pointless.. it freezes up after a few seconds and takes over a minute to even show those few seconds. The rules, and other statuses are completely missing. I actually use my browser app and log in to iris via the web site now.. this app is just that bad. They need to hire a new mobile android team (and I suspect iOS team as well). A redesign with full functionality and smooth video streaming for those of us that pay for it are long overdue.

It's junk, but what other option do we have when we own iris? Takes forever for the app to update the true current status of iris. Then also takes way too long to apply a setting. Why would you add more control to the mobile app when you can't even do the basic stuff very well.
