IrssiNotifier+

IrssiNotifier+

Get instant notifications from IRC hilights and private messages straight from your Irssi IRC client to your Android device!

This supporter version has all the same features than the free version, plus pull mechanism, which allows you to receive IRC hilights even if you're not online all the time. Putting this feature into paid version helps cut down server costs. If you find IrssiNotifier useful, please consider buying this. Thank you for your support!

IrssiNotifier+ uses Google Cloud Messaging (Android push mechanism), so notifications consume very little battery and are almost real time.

Irssi script set up is straightforward and instructions are available at the app's web page at https://irssinotifier.appspot.com.

All messages are end-to-end encrypted with encryption key specified by you, so your privacy will be protected.

Check https://irssinotifier.appspot.com for more information. Unofficial scripts for WeeChat and Python are also available. Project is open source and hosted on GitHub.

Recent changes:
1.7
- Added new option that clears the notifications when they are read in Irssi. Check web site for more information.

1.6.13
- Fixed app forgetting all messages except latest in some cases. Thanks to everybody who reported it!

1.6.12
- Fixed licensing not working, sorry about that
- Fixed app not working on Android 2.x

Check the website for full changelog. The Irssi script has also been improved dramatically, check https://irssinotifier.appspot.com for upgrade instructions.

I use this everyday This is an amazing application. I just wish the weechat script would be updated to have feature parity with the irssi version... Unfortunately I am no python coder.

Wonderful for IRSSI Users I don't have the kind of life where I can sit staring at IRSSI all day, I find IRC boring as batshit, this is great for sending notifications to my phone so I only use IRC when I absolutely have to :D
