This application will help the user recite the Arhat Vandana.
We offer homage to our lord, morning and evening, with a view to remembering his great qualities, deriving inspiration from his life sanctified by penance and forging a resolute
will to reach the goal set before us. our homage is not a prayer. within us have we everything, possessors as we are of infinite potentialities. What, however we need is only digging up the treasure buried within. We take off our hat to those who have dug out such a treasure and draw inspiration from them for self- enlightenment. But no right have we to pray to them for anything, nor should we expect to get anything out of such prayers.
Awakening to these infinite sources of power shall depend on how we offer the homage - by word alone or also by body and mind, heart an soul, and sit in meditation, firm as rock, singing in unison with heart full of faith, devotion and ecstasy.
Of our scripture, so poignant and deep is each word, each phrase, each dictum and each verse that any single one of them is powerful enough to mould and build our life and unfold our personality to its fullness. What is imperatively needed is only our interest in their meaning and identification with their spirit , diving deeper and deeper into them. This is sine qua non of our homage to be fruitful and capable of leading us to the destination set out by those whom we offer such homage. .
