Talking SMS and Caller ID.
Jarvis Assist, is a first release of our Jarvis personal assistant. Initially Jarvis simply announces important content as it arrives to your mobile device, for example calls, emails (K9 only compatible), text/sms, but we are adding many more.
PLEASE NOTE, WE CAN'T USE JARVIS's ACTUAL VOICE FROM IRONMAN.
Jarvis will speak with your currently selected Text-To-Speech voice,
There are some really cool ones out there, we recommend William from Cereproc, email us for a more complete list including free ones
The application has following features.
* Announces calls, and missed calls
* Announces sms, and reads sms content
* Announces emails, and reads subject (requires k9 email client)
* Announces alarms (only some alarm programs supported)
* Power level alert
* Unlock and boot messages
* Widget for quick access to settings/sound
* Receiver for our beta Earthquake, Tsunami alerts (more free services to come)
* Social Media notifications
- Kakao Talk
- Facebook Messenger
- Group Me
We have just added a framework to alert you of your favourite new notifications. First off the blocks is WhatsApp, however we expect to cover most services very soon (we have a long list from customer request, and most of them should roll out in next drop guys)
For now to enable WhatsApp notifications please manually enable accessibility for Jarvis
Home Screen > System Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Services > Jarvis > Change from Off to On,
BONUS, (we are not trying to be a siri..there are some good android siri's, please search if that's what you are looking for...)
* Voice command to make a call (say call ...)
* Voice command to send a text (say text ...)
We are adding more commands, but initially concentrating on bringing important information to your attention ...
Perhaps try Robin, Assistant, Indigo or the multitude of other programs that mainly voice activate your phone features/launch programs... Google Now does a reasonable job of this out of the box.
Added volume override setting (turn this on to let Jarvis override your phones media volume when speaking)
Fixed xml inflator issues for some 2.x devices
*Added alarms, and initial support for 2.x devices
*Added Social Media Notifications
*Added loading message when device powers up
*Update to contacts lookup
*Battery level low
*Welcome back message (turned off by default, turn on in settings)
*Earthquake alert message support (requires Jarvis Disaster Aler)
