Jupiter Simulator (previously know as JoveMoons) is an astronomy app that shows the location of the four largest Jupiter moons, and the Great Red Spot.

All positions can be shown in real time, or in faster animation. You can set the clock to other times in the future or past.

You can navigate in three dimensions, and zoom in and out. The orbits of the moons can be made visible. Information on the nature of the satellites is given.

Recent changes:
-Improved user interface
-More useful information based on user's location: rise, set and transit time. Altitude and azimuth. Planet visibility.
-Go to the next great red spot transit event.

Helps plan when to take pictures I like to get the moons close and the great red spot facing my way in photos, this lets me know the best time to bring out the camera and scope.

Only drawback is the photos of Jupiter need updating as features on Jupiter do change. Very nice app

Found the GRS! I finally found an app that let me find the Great Red Spot in real time!
