★★★ Kaiten's origin ★★★

Kaiten is based on the popular open source app K-9 Mail and was built by K-9's lead developers Jesse and Chris. By buying Kaiten you not only get an awesome email client, you also support the open source version because almost all of the new features are contributed to K-9 Mail.

The name is a play on K-9. Kaiten is a Japanese word that means rotation and sounds a lot like K10 or K-10.

Nice UI but constantly fails to send emails due to a java error. I so much wanted this to be the one. Hopefully fixes are coming.

Good... But... Will give 5 stars if: 1. Allow unlimited email to be stored by default as EML on SDCard 2. Allow for HTML signatures

Uninstalled Seems to hang, stops synchronizing. Have to kill the app and restart all the time.

The UI is outdated. Horrible UI. Download free best myMail app.Why are you not following the new design concept of expandable menu like facebook, google plus, evernote, etc. Navigating between account is a hell. One has to go back twice to bypass the folder list and come forward. There are still too many clicks to change the account. No thought given for design for gestures. Its designed like a old tap interface. The chrome(navigation bars) take unnecessary space on the UI. There are too many columns on the list view.

Great app but......... Have used for years. Has been the best mail app but has not made the changes required to stay on top of it's game. Lately, I have had many forced closed sessions. I have uninstalled and moved on to AquaMail Pro. Sorry to see you go Kaiten! Maybe someday you will catch back up?
