★★★ Kaiten's origin ★★★

Kaiten is based on the popular open source app K-9 Mail and was built by K-9's lead developers Jesse and Chris. By buying Kaiten you not only get an awesome email client, you also support the open source version because almost all of the new features are contributed to K-9 Mail.

The name is a play on K-9. Kaiten is a Japanese word that means rotation and sounds a lot like K10 or K-10.

Used to love this app until it stopped showing the content of emails (text or html). Hoped it was Isolated to my Note 4. Just installed on S6 Edge and still not working. I wrote to developer. Same developer that took my money but it's been almost 3 months NO REPLY. Too bad I can't request refund now. If you have a problem with app do NOT expect assistance from those you paid. They took our $ and ran. THIS IS DIRECT FROM DEV SITE: November 7, 2013 Problems with Android 4.4 Sadly, Kaiten currently doesn’t work very well with Android 4.4 (KitKat). We’re working hard on fixing the problems and hope to have an update ready soon.

Look like this app has been abandoned. Don't buy. I liked this app a lot and bought it for myself and wife bought copy too. Not been updated in a long time and no response on e-mails. I'm now an AquaMail Pro user.

Ruined This was a wonderful email app until they stopped supporting it (last update: March 2014). On a fully up to date Nexus 7, it is now impossible to select messages without the app crashing, rendering it pretty much worthless. No response from the developers. What a shame.
