Confusing but works This app works well once you link it. However it is quite confusing to do so. A printed step by step manual would be useful to be able to keep in the car. Can anyone post that here? I am using a Kenwood DNX892 with a Note 3 phone and Note 2014 edition tablet. Both work but you must use the mentioned 11 to 5 pin HDML adapter. Once linked you can not listen to music unless the source is the paired phone or tablet, not the CD or Sat Radio. I had to have my stereo installer shop link it form me and it was difficult even for them. Even though I watched, I can't remember what they did. I use Back country navigator app to provide top maps and aerial imagery when I am in remote areas off grid. Having this on the vehicle display is quite nice.

HTC One M8 Touch Screen Didnt Work at First... So, I've seen a few HTC One M8 users here and thought my experience might help some of you. The app at first did not work with my radio/phone. The radio is a DDX5901HD. I was able to connect it with a HDMI MHL USB cord. I was able to sync it like the video mentioned. But when I did the touch screen aspect of it did not work. I couldnt control the phone through the radio. I thought that this might be due the the app and the phone not being compatible. Doing some research the other night I found a video talking about a work around of a parking by pass. "A light green/lime colored wire." I never installed this wire. So after seeing this video I went and took apart my dash and installed the wire. I then grounded the wire. After I did this the touch screen part of the app worked fine! I'm now using the app as it was intended, and it was all due to the wire not being grounded. Will this solve everyone's problems? I'm not sure, but this is what solved my problem. I hope this helps!
