This is a simple game for the very critical and technically sophisticated toddler market. Well, a specific two-year-old actually: my granddaughter, Kira. Because I'm not the kind of grandma that knows how to knit, I made her this game. Maybe your two-year-old would like it, too.
But I'm telling you, kids today, they're going to be hard to impress. Kira already knows how to unlock her mom's phone, open folders and choose the games she likes. She doesn't know her colors and numbers, but she knows her way around an Android OS.
So, here's what we have. The kid likes glitter and dancing and coloring and animals, so those things are in this application. There are three games with different learning challenges here. TAP-SHAKE to learn parts of the body, COLORS is a simple coloring book and NUMBERS is a flash card type application with different pictures for numbers 1 thru 6.
The reward for two of the games is a Shake-Dance mini-game which will play music and give simple dancing instruction for as long as your toddler keeps shaking the device.
Rest assured, it is as entertaining to a toddler as it is annoying to adults.
