Koopman Rare Art grew from the 1993 merger of E & C.T. Koopman & Son and Rare Art London. Our primary goal is to have at all times a first class selection of wonderful antique silver, which is accessible to all.
The collecting world knows no boundaries and Koopman Rare Art have exhibited in America for twenty-five years, in Hong Kong, the Middle East and Australia since the mid-eighties, and in London and Europe for the last forty years.
The company is well-known for holding one of London's largest stocks of top quality English silver . Of particular note would be the work of Robert Garrard , Paul Storr , and Paul De Lamerie , but this is far from the limit of our specialisation. In 2005 we held a unique exhibition on Rundell Bridge and Rundell. Following on from this success we held an exhibition in 2010 called "The Classical Ideal". Both of these events were combined with a charitable event to help firstly The Princes Trust and then The Sir John Soane's Museum.
The beauty of silver is most evident when it is of the finest design and construction; this is where Koopman Rare Art, as antique silver dealers, excels. Anyone searching for top-quality should be able to find it at all times in our gallery. We are pleased to welcome all professional collectors, new and ambitious collectors, as well as those with just a passing interest.
