User reviews of kWS - Android Web Server
I like this app, though it should install with a default index.html file under a secured directory (ie /sdcard/kws/htdocs) other than being a fun little app to play with I see no intrinsic value because it is a non-world-readable service so what's the point?

Great little app. Some reviewers are noting trouble over 3g. I think this is really limited to wifi. If you try to connect via a mobile service like ATT it's likely that they block it.

I have installed the kWS Android web server on my Android 2.2 tablet. When I start the kWS on my phone, in the log it displays the Host and Port address. When I try to access this from remote pc browser, it does not work. I am using 3G internet connection. Could you please tell me if I am missing any thing here. regards,Krishna([email protected])

Works as promised, shares what is needed and security is also working.

Seems cool but I'm only getting it to work on WiFi and I have a DynDNS account, but I'm confused about using it over 3G or 4G.

port 8080 After startup it says: Error: Port [8080] is already bound. And I cannot do anything to get out of here , except uninstall the application. Pitty.
