L10N Beta

L10N Beta

L10N Beta helps you localize android apps into other languages.

For you as a user:

Are you using your favorite apps every day? If those apps are not available in your mother tongue, please translate them with this app and send the results to the developers. All you have to do is select your favorite app, translate it, and send the result to the developer. Developers can then import the translated resource and update the app on the Android Market. The app is now multilingual. If you have trouble typing texts on your Android tablet, you can do 'Save', access the L10N Website (http://l10n.egglang.com/) and continue your translation on your PC (WEB browser).

For you as a developer:

If you are an app user, you will want to use apps --- especially your favorite apps --- in your native language that you are best accustomed to. If you are an app developer, you will want your app to be used by many users who speak foreign languages, but localization is difficult. Maybe you don't know that language. Even when you know a little about that language, finding an appropriate expression in a foreign language. Of cource, machine translation is always an option. The quality of machine translation is, however, not always ideal. Also it is impossible to verify its results when you don't know that language. Users can translate resources included in the apps in a device, and send the results to the app developers. Developers will receive app resources translated by a user who love the app and want to use it in their own language.

L10N Beta aims to shorten the distance between app users and developers and make both of them happy.

L10N is a beta version on a trial basis at the moment. All features are subject to change without notice. Please give us your feedbacks so that we can improve this app better.

Very helpful It's very helpful, but I'm missing the part where it automatically fills out the translations already available in the app. So it can be edited or skipped. Now you have no option to see what translations are already available.
