While telling lies is generally not recommended, there are many times in life when white lies are needed. You can lie to save loved ones from worry. You can lie to avoid or delay unpleasant news. You can lie or exaggerate facts to motivate others to do better, and many more situations. There are also some common sense lies.

Example 1: You probably shouldn't tell your supervisor you were late to work today because you had a
job interview with another company.

Example 2: If lying about how many times you recycle is what it takes to make you a "perfect fit" for a job ....lie away.

There are also the lies we tell to make ourselves feel better. A big example is our age. We may tell different ages to different people. That's ok. LieLog can help.

Lielog can help you keep track of these lies, so you don't need to remember them. Just review the lies you told before seeing the person(s) you lied to. Or review your lies from time to time.

If you suspect you've been lied to, you can type the details into LieLog. Wait a couple of weeks and then ask the person some follow up questions or the exact same question. The truth does not change; answers should be consistent and logical.

Use LieLog to document a lie or suspected lie as soon as possible to preserve information accuracy.
