Lifting Log

Lifting Log

Lifting Log tracks your progress on a per-exercise basis. It doesn't need or want to know the days of the week you workout or your name, body weight, height and pictures of your gut like other over-complicated weight training apps.

It's simply meant to track your reps/weight progress per exercise (e.g. bench, military press, squat) and even graph your increases for each.

I like the simplicity of it but would be awesome if it was possible to backup the data and and exercises to folders or groups!

Delightfully simple, my favorite lifting app, could use a few tweaks I have been using this application to track my lifting at home for the past eight months. I downloaded about ten applications and settled on this one. Clean and simple and efficient, I love how customizable it is. It feels like a normal pencil and paper log for your workout but put into mobile application form (and a lot easier to read, track and graph). Suggestions: -I get a prompt to enter a new exercise every time I open it. I already entered everything I need (plank, squats, bench, etc) and I do not like the prompt. -The significant figures on the weight should be customizable. Right now all weights are listed to the tenth of a lb/kgs. I never enter anything as precise as 50.2 lbs vs. 50.5 lbs, but I have to delete the extra .0 every time I switch 50 to 55 lbs and back again. I know it is stupid, but with the tiny text boxes, I keep accidentally entering 500 lbs or 5 lbs when I mean 50. -If you set a weight of "0 lbs/kgs" for body weight exercises like push ups or such, it forgets that setting. I just put in a filler of "1 lb." -Wish I could break workouts into separate groups (legs vs. arms or weekday vs. weekend or whatever). Thanks for this program!

Awsome The app is really easy to use, I would give 5 stars when you can sort the logs into different folders, otherwise great app.

Good App Love that it's simple and has rest timer. Wish you could organize exercises by body part and wish you could pull up history of exercise by week and month so you could more easily see progression over different periods of time.

The beep Great app, keeps it simple, yet is effective. Only complaint I have is when the rest timer finishes the beep blasts to full volume and if you listen to your music while you work out it blast that as well and blows your ear drums.
