Lightwave Controller

Lightwave Controller

Unofficial app for controlling LightwaveRF lights with a WiFi link when connected to the same WiFi network.
Supports:
- Turning on, off, and setting dim levels for dimmers and switches
- Controlling pre-configured moods for all lights at once
- Renaming rooms, devices and moods for ease of identification
- Controlling from local WiFi or from the Internet (router configuration needed)

You'll need to register your phone with your WiFi link device the first time you try and use it to control your lights. If you need help doing this, follow the instructions at
http://www.gazumbo.com/android.html

To use the app from outside your local WiFi, you'll need to configure your home router to forward UDP port 9760 to your WiFi link device, and enter the IP address or DNS name of the router to the settings pane on the application.

This application requires SD Card access to backup and restore its settings on the SD Card

Good but unfinished Like that it uses UDP commands remotely so never depends on server. Very simple, uncomplicated layout but needs development. For example, it doesn't send the name of the device to the WiFi Link & establishing a link to sending device now needs special link command (for WiFi Link firmware > 2.51) which this app doesn't yet accommodate. Ideal would be an app that caters for BOTH server OR non-server use when remote.

Doesn't work Won't go beyond the welcome screen. I suspect it isn't compatible with a galaxy s5 as there is no menu soft key on the phone.
