Here are some instructions to setup this app for first use:

When you first run the app your library has no source directory set, so it does not know where to look to find video files on your device. Because of this you get taken to the settings screen which allows you to choose your source directory by clicking the 'Choose Directory' button.

After that you will be taken to a file browser which allows you to choose the directory that you have your m4v files stored in. Navigate to that folder and press the 'Choose' button at the bottom of the screen.

Now that you have chosen a source directory you can press the back button to go to your library which should refresh automatically. You can refresh your library at any time by pressing the refresh button in the top right of the app.

The first 3 lists in your library are used to navigate the directories and subdirectories within your source directory. After you have chosen an m4v file, that m4v files chapters will show up in the far right list. Select a chapter or hit 'Play All' to start the video playing in the bottom right video player.

Once a video is playing you can pinch-to-zoom to toggle fullscreen. Also, if you tap the video some controls will show up for a few seconds, allowing you to play/pause skip forward and back and skip to the previous and next chapter.

Enjoy!

Thank you - it works perfectly! I have a bunch of m4v educational files with chapter stops to separate one lesson from the next. I didn't like fast forwarding from through lessons to get to the next. I searched high and low and stumbled on this gem of an application. Thank you for perfectly meeting my need for an m4v player that recognizes and allows the user to navigate through chapter stops/markers.

Needs to support external storage I keep my video files on a 64G micro-SD card on my Galaxy S3. The app won't let me specify a directory that's not on the internal memory. Need to be able to select directories under /external_sd, /extSdCard or /storage/sdcard1 Really want to try this app to try it's support of chapters. Please expand directory selection and I'll review and update.

Good start Not bad. Working as expected. App needs works on UI, eliminating mulitple columns for example, just one column would be better but for now, it's fantastic, I'm looking forward to seeing the app improve as time passes. Any chance will you find a way for usb otg storage to be included in directory? Usbstorage directory isn't showing up. I'm on Nexus 7 2013.

My Asus works great. You need to make sure all videos are m4v coded with chapter markers. If you have wmv or another file type. The videos will not work. Amazing app! Universe is the limit. Thank you developer
