Mag+ Reviewer

The Mag+ Reviewer contains free sample pages from some of the leading digital magazines built on the Mag+ platform.

AND, if you download the Mag+ production suite from magplus.com, it lets YOU build content in Adobe InDesign and review it immediately on your Android Tablet.

How It Works:
Mag+ uses a simple InDesign plug-in that talks directly to this app, so you can build magazines, catalogs, books, brochures, anything you want. Push a button and it will export that layout in a fully optimized format, to this app over a wireless network.

Use this app to try out the system, get creative and show your digital publishing ideas in a fully functional form. When you're ready to publish to the world, go to magplus.com and buy a branded reader app, just like Popular Science+, Maxim+ or dozens of other Mag+ publications.

If you're not ready to create anything yet, just enjoy the sample pages in this app and check back often for new examples of publishers pushing the boundaries of digital design.

Go to magplus.com now to download the full production suite and learn more about Mag+.

If you find a bug in the app, please use the Report-Button to report them directly to the developer. Thanks!

Update: The latest version works like a charm, thanks for the quick fix. :) Old review follows: I read the people can't open the .mib files on their Adroid devices. If you want to open an .mib file or any other file (either localy stored or from dropbox or other cloud service) do the following. Install the application "Download All Files" by MDJ Software. This liitle app allows you to download and open file extensions that the Android OS does not support or blocks by default, for security reasons. Click on your .mib file and the "Download All Files" app will ask you to "Save It" (even if it is already stored in your phone). Click on the button. Once saved the button will change to "Open File". Click on it again and the Android OS will prompt you to open the file with Mag+. Voila. You can now see your file with Mag+. I have been using the "Download All Files" app since the early days of Android because I couldn't download unsupported mail attachments and files fom the internet browser on my devices. Hope this helps. As for the Mag+ app, I will reserve my opinion in a future update of this review.

Good concept, but could use some work... I love the idea of it, and it works better on my Nexus 10 compared to my 7 or Note 2, but still light years behind the iPad version. Any chance you'll be bringing this up to par with that anytime soon?
