MailDroid - Email Application

MailDroid is an ad-supported Webdav/POP3/IMAP Idle Push email client written from the ground up and and not based on the stock email client.

MailDroid has all the features you could want from a mobile email client and it continues to be built around user feedback. With the ability for IMAP users to sync draft mails, sent mail, deleted mail based on when they are on wifi or mobile as well as pop3 preload capability, MailDroid was built with mobile data in mind from the start. MailDroid also is an email client focusing in on what business users want such as choosing to delete an email locally or from both device and server per email read as well as custom rules to alert and move certain email to folders. Finally, for the power users there is even encryption capability using open PGP and S/MIME. MailDroid will allow you to encrypt and/or sign email using open PGP in the MIME format or Inline format and allow you to encrypt and/or sign an email using S/MIME. HTC Evo LTE - ever since Sept `12, update removed ability to open browser when clicking on links on Evo LTE! No indication of fix, so using a different mail client.

Mail send failure Has a consistent problem that makes it unreliable and unusable for me. If I use it on Wifi, then go out of Wifi range but still on 4G,it errors out if I try to send emails. Other email clients work fine. Doesn't resume working until I can get back on Wifi. If I remember to turn off Wifi before trying to send when I'm out of range, it's fine. Already emailed support several times, I'm done. Not worth the effort. Totally useless if you rely on it for business, at least on my S5.

Best email client I earlier used k9 but it did not allow to work with Certificates seems little slow on load plus with swipe it should browse next mail but i know free version is ad supported. But i love it and love to contribute so no problem with ads they deserve it.

It does the job This became my replacement for Android's good ol' Mail app once Google decided to merge it with Gmail. It does the job reasonably well, the only thing I miss is having the chance to do searches in M$ Exchange accounts.
