Marblewords is a word puzzle game that tests your vocabulary under pressure. Marbles will fall from the top of the play area and slowly fill up your screen, and the game ends when a letter ball can no longer fit into the play area and tumbles off the screen.
"I really like it. I love word games but this one forces you to think quickly. I find it challenging."
Spell words to clear away the letter balls and score points. Spell longer words to score more points.
The list of allowed words is based on the rules of Scrabble: no proper nouns or other words that are spelled with capital letters, and English words only.
Tap on letters to spell words. You can choose any of the letters on the screen to spell your word, they don't need to be touching at all. Press the enter button to score the word, and those letters will disappear. The golden balls are bonus points: get them to the bottom of the screen and they will give you points equal to the last word you scored.
In the Blitz mode, the game ends after your words use up a total of 300 marbles. Use longer words to climb up in levels as fast as you can to get the most points out of those limited marbles... but don't overextend yourself!
In Survival, keep going for as long as you can. See if you can keep your words as short as possible to last longer, but spell below the par length too much and the game will end early.
In Multiplayer [beta], there is no score. Every word you finish will drop an equivalent number of marbles into your opponent's pit. The winner is the one who survives.
Marblewords uses Google Play Games for Multiplayer, and for achievements and leader boards in single player.
Multiplayer has been changed so that each match lasts multiple rounds. The winner is the first to win 3 rounds.
In single player you can no longer spam yourself to death with the pull button. The game will stop you but provide bonus points for the risk.
