Media Assets

Media Assets

Manage your Media items via Android Handset
Create Entries by entering their EAN code manually or by scanning it.
barcode recognition is done by ZXing.
Media Assets will query Amazons Database via WebService and create an Entry in its Database. From there you can assign an owner and edit meta-data.
Media Assets will try to download a screenshot for each Item (cover image, product photo or similar), convert it to png and cache the image. This way you save precious bandwidth and transfer-volumina).
I always missed and export function with applications like this: Media Assets has an export function built in from the initial release. Save your data to a csv file on your device or send csv data via email from within Media Assets. That way you can export data to Numbers or Excel.
The Media-List offers the possibility to search for title across all entries. One of the next releases will feature FTS - this will speed up queries significantly.
An Import function is on the roadmap.

The icons have been borrowed by "Media Manager" (http://code.google.com/p/android-mediamanager) and i really like them. Thanks a lot to the author(s) of Media Manger.
