Medic SOS Pro

Medic SOS Pro

This application safely keeps your medical details, as well as your emergency contacts (ICE contacts), on your phone in case of any emergency that may occur anywhere in the world. In addition, it provides an emergency widget that, once pressed, alerts and informs about your location to your emergency contact list by text message.

You can add the widget to the lock screen with the app "WidgetLocker". There will be no own lock screen implementation because of many different Android devices and versions.

One annoying glitch This is pretty good, but every time I add my diseases, they disappear. This is one of the most important items, and so really annoying. Please fix!

Needs some fine tuning Has been a great app for my lock screen. But now it is sending SOS texts everyday . I had to remove this app because it was causing too many false SOS texts and worrying my contacts. Will check back later to see whether this problem has been solved

Lifesaver? This kind of application should be builtin feature of Android. It's questionable whether it is wise to store all that personal information unprotected. On the other hand, in an emergency that essential information might keep you alive. The biggest problem is lack of awareness. People treating you might not try to look your information in your phone/tablet.
