Message Encrypter


A message encrypter application that can encrypt/decrypt messages using one of two methods, with or without a password. It can also send and receive encrypted messages from right inside of the app, allowing for easier encryption/decryption when using it to have a conversation.

A more detailed description can be found inside of the app by pressing the "Menu" key, then "How to use".

Permissions Explained:
android:name="android.permission.SEND_SMS" To send SMS

android:name="android.permission.RECEIVE_SMS" To capture incoming SMS for decryption

android:name="android.permission.READ_CONTACTS" To allow the user to pick a contact to send a message to

android:name="android.permission.INTERNET" Ads
android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE"

android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" To write encrypted/decrypted text into /AlloyPowered/MessageEncrypter

Recent changes:
Rearranged UI, moved "EE" to "Menu" key -> "Settings"

Both encrypt and decrypt actions are now done by a spinner.

Added setting to auto start app upon receival of encrypted message (Note: This does not leave an active service running in the background, the app can be completely stopped and should still work)


Heavy modification was made to the app's database, if an error occurs with concern to the new settings try clearing the apps data (or uninstalling/reinstalling) then relaunching the app.
