One of the worst newspaper apps out there This is a shockingly abysmal app from a storied paper. While the iPad app is decent, the Android version isn't even good enough to be called an afterthought -- because that would imply at least some thought went into this app. There are essentially just lists of article headlines in a small font under different headings, with tiny photo thumbnails on the right margin. The bulk of the articles are days old. What's perhaps most laughable is that you are expected to pay for this elementary school level mess, at least if you're not already a print subscriber. I'd say somebody at the Herald (or their relatively new parent McClatchy) is asleep at the switch, but more likely no one was ever even at the switch.

E for effort they try. but they are in Floridugh. Staffed by Folridughridans listed under the US.Goverment as the second most stupid state by there standards. The "H" stands for history. They have the same stories for days. Thats most of them. Another scam , Different county sections. With the same stories in each.. A waist of paper.etc just to make it look bigger. A lot of stories have been there for over 6 months. Many 3 months. There are only a few new stories each day.
