MotoPrint

MotoPrint

On devices that support Android 3.0 or above there is no MotoPrint icon in the application tray. You can easily print by selecting “print” while viewing the desired content in applications such as photos in Gallery, documents in Quickoffice, and web pages in Browser.

MotoPrint is the printing application that allows you to print content directly from your Motorola Mobile Device.

MotoPrint connects to the following types of printers on the same network as your mobile device or USB cable via a dock:
- Most Postscript and PCL6 Laser Printers
- Most HP Printers (Must Support PCL3 GUI Category 10)
- Most Epson Printers (Must Support ESC/P-R)
- Most Canon Printers

If your printer is not directly supported, you can print a test page to find out the required driver or connect to your printer via your Windows PC.

With MotoPrint you can print the following:
- Photos
- Emails
- Microsoft Office Documents
- Calendar Events
- Contacts
- WebPages

The following requires Android 3.0 or above
- USB Support

Was great till droid4 went to 4.1.2 Still no update for this app to add support back. This app was great as I could print directly to my print/fileserver when I was at home Motorola did something great and then just abandoned it. I don't want to install Chrome on my server 2008 box to be able to print. . . I want to be able to use my username and password to access directly. Verizon updated the Droid4 to Jelly bean and the motoprint is no longer compatible. This is a major pain when you are used to using an app and it no longer works. Till the update this was great for printing a document on the run.
