Motorcycle & Scooter Parking

Motorcycle & Scooter Parking

Do you live in Australia and ride a motorcycle or scooter?

Find a motorcycle parking spot in your city.

Most councils have allocated several dedicated spaces to motorcyles close to the CBD. Find them easily and quickly with the Motorcycle Network Parking App.

Each state in Australia has different parking rules - and each Local Council governs the areas and the fees. They are all different and you need to know the rules to avoid a parking ticket.

For instance: Victoria is the ONLY state that allows you to park on the footpath. If you park on the footpath in any other state you will be fined.
Sydney CBD allows bikes to park in car bays without purchasing a ticket - but you MUST abide by the time limits.
Perth CBD does NOT allow bikes in car bays at all. You MUST park in dedicated bike bays.

These and many other rules make it difficult to park your motorbike legally and responsibly when travelling from state to state.

Motorcycle Network Parking app also shows you the location of parking stations where your bike or scooter should be more secure. The payment varies but mostly the cost is reduced from the car rate.

Visit the Motorcycle Network website www.mcnetwork.com.au to find the location of all the motorcycle and scooter dealers, mechanics, tyre repairs, tours, insurance, hire and so much more. Need a helmet, jacket or spare part for your bike - find it quickly on the Motorcycle Network Directory of all thing two wheeled.

If you find a parking spot that has not been listed, then we want to know about it. Contact us with the location so that all motorcyclists can benefit.

Used to be awesome Used to be a fantastic app, however can't even use it lately - the map is very slow and laggy and has basically made it unusable.

Works ok, but a bit dated I do love this app and it's helped a lot. But the design, as minimal as it is, is a bit dated. The only real problem I have is the GPS function seems to be totally out of whack. I don't know what android GPS methods it's using but it seems to show my location as somewhere I was about 3 hours ago. Maybe use ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION instead?
