BATTERY USE
With Moves, our goal was to create an app that will keep your phone running fine if you charge it nightly. In tests with Moves and other typical phone use, we’ve reached that goal, but your results may vary, as there are many variables that affect battery consumption. We’re continuously working on minimizing battery consumption even further.

SAMSUNG NOTE II INCOMPATIBILITY
Unfortunately, Samsung Note II cannot run its accelerometer sensor in the background. We have tried different solutions, but we have not found a satisfactory way to support the device. We would really like to support Note II and try to find a way in the future.

Needs major work Installed on my HTC one m8 and cannot use the accelerometer while the screen is off meaning step count and distance is highly inaccurate and is delivering useless data to my Vitality health coverage . Massively drains battery, at least an extra 35% a day while in the background. This could be an incredibly helpful app... Purely requires updating to use the latest handset technology

More Vitality reward avoidance, so great for them. Kills battery. (Add a disable option at least??) Not a viable app for anyone who regularly exercises away from a plug socket. And no Pru, I don't want to buy any other device to track my fitness when I have a smartwatch, a smartphone and great apps like Strava and Google fit already. Why reinvent? Just another reason for Prudential not to pay out rewards.

Simple to use and linked to vitality Really simple app to use. And it doesn't use much battery. But best of all you don't have to waste time turning it on and off. It's just on doing its thing all the time. But it does tell me I've been cycling every so often and I can't even ride a bike so I've not been cycling.
