My Mileage Pro-Receipt/Mileage

My Mileage Pro-Receipt/Mileage

Just charge your phone or pair with a bluetooth device when you enter your car and My Mileage logs your tax deductible mileage effortlessly and efficiently. If you have to manually enter data at every stop, then why not use pen and paper?

With blue tooth, you can configure My Mileage so that all you have to do is hop in the car and start driving. This works because blue tooth devices will automatically reconnect when in the vicinity of a previously paired device which will kick on the GPS. Once the GPS detects you are over 20 MPH, My Mileage will start a log entry.

Plug your phone into the car charger or connect to blue tooth and it will automatically log the miles for tax purposes and track the odometer changes. Take phone calls, listen to Pandora, My Mileage does not need to be the active application.

Take full advantage of your phones capabilities to track tax deductible business and charitable expenses.

Use your camera to scan an image of receipts.

Email your data off the phone with all the receipt images and a nice spreadsheet.

Automatic Tracking
When your phone is plugged in, My Mileage sits in the background and uses GPS to log the miles for tax purposes.
It uses your last entry to default the expense type, vehicle used, and odometer reading. Talk on the phone, listen to Pandora, My Mileage does not need to be the currently active application.

Pair your phone to a blue tooth device and configure My Mileage automatically start when paired with that device. This feature is useful for cars equipped with blue tooth like Ford Sync. For cars not equipped with Bluetooth, one can buy blue tooth car kits. The advantage of blue tooth is that most phones will automatically reconnect when a previously paired bluetooth device is nearby.

Export
When you are ready, have My Mileage package all images, an Excel report, and a back up your data in a zip file.

Caveats: Mileage accuracy depends on the quality of the phone's GPS, weather conditions, if the GPS has been on recently and where the phone is placed in the car. Mileage accuracy has been compared to other Google developed applications and My Mileage has similar accuracy. We are constantly trying to improve, so please email any problems.

App Won't Restore - No Support! I have been using this app, backing it up regularly, I had to reset my phone. I have all of my backup files and have followed what few instructions it gives but it WILL NOT restore my files... and...The email listed for the developer comes back incorrect so I cannot contact anybody for help. If anybody can help, please email me at [email protected] I need this restored!

Good app But.... Why does security program on my android keep popping up with either a malware or adware alert from this program? And why can't I delete the free version once I have the paid?

Very handy vehicle log. Thought about adding maintenance logging and reminder to it?

Not worth the headache I had been using the free version and decided to upgrade to Pro for the extra features. I would have ben better off putting the money into a pad and pencil to track my mileage. The latest updates have made the program add or subtract miles (5 - 10 miles on a trip) and it is almost impossible to reset the mileage to get it to come up right. I cannot seem to get the program to STOP CONNECTING TO GPS when I plug it in to charge, and it drains the battery unless I use the phone settings to stop the GPS. The Stop GPS function in the prgram does not work most of the time. I had to reset my phone so I backed up the DB, removed the SD card and then reset the phone. Noe I can't get the backup restored because it was not named correctly when I did a backup (?) Stay far far away from this app. It is not worht the time, let alone the money, that it requires.

This is a must have for contractors Just plug it and go less is best! As a independant contractor I have so many things to do, not having to remember to start tracking my mileage and keeping a written log is such a help. Would like more options in the amount of time between automatic start and stop gps times. But overall love the app
