My Uni

My Uni

* Quick access to your Student Portal
* Add POI's and geo-tag the community map
* Share campus location
* Share diagrams
* Make a quick note

University apps are all the same. Boring click, click, click navigation icons a grid with news, video's, important phone numbers, and the same tired old Google Maps. This app is designed to buck this trend, to be different and to provide you the student with what you really want in a university app.

More detailed maps than any other universities app. Your location on campus can be shared as a picture. Revolutionary community driven OpenStreetMap, used by Foursquare™, allows you to edit your campus map. No other uni app offers you the ability to draw and share diagrams, or to share screenshot's of your timetable or exam schedule and subject information in your student portal. Access all these features and more, at lightning speed using the tabbed navigation.

This app does not try to duplicate inbuilt android functions like Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts. Instead, it lets those apps complement it's functionality. You will not find timetable scheduling features or emailing and contact features in this app as they can be done through android. Lets face it, Google does a great job with that.

Don't be contracted to your institutions app, designed by someone who had to do it as an assignment or that got paid to do it and lacks the passion and dedication to provide what student's really want, academic usability. Exercise your creative potential and augment your education in style with My Uni.

It works It doesn't zoom enough for me to actually read the building name, so it's useless. But great potential!
