Completely unplayable Game crashes upon pressing the home button. Pet is lost. Cannot decrypt saves. Haven't been able to play for a year. Shame this game was really fun.

Evolving? My pet doesn't evolve after the 4th generation... my last pet suddenly just turned into an egg instead. This new pet is now stuck in 4th generation as well :( Other than that it is a great game.

Good Virtual Pet This app does a wonderful job of recreating the classic digital pets from the late 90's. It has basically the same features and interface as the Giga Pets, Digimon, and Tamagotchi and tries to emulate their distinct look with few colors, gigantic "pixels", and few buttons. You'll have to feed the pet, clean up after it, put it to sleep, wake it up, and train it. What I like about this app over the others in the Play store is that this one runs quite fast and isn't bogged down by a difficult-to-render or tricky UI. The training games are simple and quick, and being able to battle other pets is a major plus, though I haven't yet had the opportunity to do so. It isn't perfect, though. It crashes fairly regularly, and while I have yet to lose any progress, it sucks to have my phone go unresponsive for five or ten seconds before deciding to force-close the app. It does seem development has stopped on this app, so fixes aren't likely to be forthcoming. The training games are simple, but it isn't always obvious how to play them at first. While the built-in manual is pretty good, it is notably silent in this area. Overall, a very good app and well worth the tiny price tag.

Great Potential This app had so much potential and community involvement, but seems it is going by way of other great vaporware games....sigh
