User reviews of NameBuzz: Caller ID+
Some of my contacts have "quallifiers" after their names. These are inbetween () and are CAPITAL LETTERS. Alas the program trys to say the letters as a word. Funny. It may be nicer if it sees capital letters and says the letters instead of trying to make a word of it.

When the phone is in another room, I can decided to take the call without getting up because the caller name is so loud and clear. Works for me.

Version 1.0.4 finally works as stated on my DroidX - previously it could not be customized. I am still suffering BlackBerry withdrawal but custom vibrate helps. Now if only it did the same for e-mail on a per account basis and had some provisions for override/respect of silent mode, I'd be even happier.

I like it so far.. This app seems to be ok so far, but it won't speak the name through my Motorola Buds BT headset when the call comes in. It also needs a proper volume control option that is not tied to the actual ringtone volume for those of us who prefer to keep our phones on silent, or when in a situation where one must have it either on vibrate or silent.. It is also a bit too quiet coming through the headset on test at least. I am pleased to hear that the developer is working hard to come up with an actual, viable product to handle this majorly missing feature on Android, but it is definitely a work in progress mention.. I will however, keep it for now to see what happens next... TIA
